Abstract
A head fixation device with pins is commonly used for immobilization of the patients during neurosurgical procedures. Despite its appropriate management, it may be the cause of some serious complications such as skull perforation and intracranial injuries.We report the case of a 19-years-old young admitted for a endoscopic third ventriculostomy who developed an epidural haematoma due to the penetration of the skull by a pin.Entities:
