Abstract
Psoriasis located on the scalp, face, skin folds, palms/soles and nails may require special consideration due to physical disability and discomfort, and because the treatment efficacy and safety may be different. There are many therapeutic approaches for psoriasis in difficult to treat locations. Only a few of the therapies have been evaluated for efficacy and safety in well-designed and well-controlled clinical studies. Furthermore, comparative studies are often lacking. This chapter describes management of psoriasis located on the scalp, face, skin folds, palm/soles and nails, with special focus on treatment with topical agents. Copyright (c) 038\ S.
