Abstract
Lipid embolization to the brain and kidney is reported, confirmed by computed tomography (CT) following lymphography in a man with malignant lymphoma. The patient complained of headache and unstable gait and became blind and hemiplegic immediately after the examination. With supportive therapy he recovered from the complications in 5 months except for slight gait disturbance, probably explained by cerebral infarction. Mechanisms of the combined brain and renal embolization are discussed.Entities:
