Copper-catalyzed aerobic phosphonation of sp3 C-H bonds.

Abstract

An efficient cross-dehydrogenative-coupling (CDC) between sp3 C-H and H-P bonds was developed using copper salt as catalyst and molecular oxygen as terminal oxidant; this new methodology provides an easy access to biologically important alpha-aminophosphonates.
