Abstract
An unusual case of obstructive jaundice due to an aneurysm of the hepatic artery is presented. The diagnosis of hepatic artery aneurysm is often difficult because of the absence of typical symptoms. In this case, the initial symptom was jaundice. Aneurysm of the hepatic artery, causing obstruction of the common bile duct, was definitely diagnosed preoperatively by subtraction angiography, combined with percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography. Surgical treatment was successful.Entities:
