Abstract
Commercial availability of multicapillary DNA sequencing instruments can significantly impact the existing paradigm in high-throughput DNA sequencing facilities, shifting the rate-limiting step away from the electrophoresis and detection step. These instruments, although novel and poorly understood, represent a significant capital investment. This review informs the reader about the state-of-the-art instruments, although capillary sequencers are in a state of almost constant flux, with improvements emerging rapidly.Year: 1999 PMID: 19499017 PMCID: PMC2291596
