Abstract
Muscle involvement is an extremely rare manifestation of blastomycosis. We, therefore, report a case of a large gluteal muscle abscess caused by Blastomyces dermatitidis in a young, immunocompetent male. In addition, we review the literature to further characterize the syndrome of skeletal muscle blastomycosis.Entities:
