Abstract
Hyperphosphatemia is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. However, in our large cross-sectional study, high serum phosphorus levels were associated with a more favorable profile of traditional cardiovascular risk factors, suggesting that hyperphosphatemia may independently contribute to the development and progression of cardiovascular disease.Entities:
