Case report: an oxidized cellulose granuloma--another hepatic pseudotumour?

M Bradley1, G Singh.

Abstract

We report a patient who presented with right upper abdominal pain and jaundice 4 months after an elective cholecystectomy. A clinical diagnosis of choledocholithiasis was supported by imaging. Ultrasound and computed tomography also led us to diagnose an incidental liver tumour which guided biopsy demonstrated as an oxidized cellulose ('Oxycell') granuloma.
