Fig. 2Numbers of deaths in the confirmed SARS and control patients 1 to 2, 3 to 4, and more than 4 weeks after ICU admission. Most of the deaths of patients with SARS occurred 3 to 4 weeks after admission, whereas most of the deaths of control patients occurred within 2 weeks after ICU admission.
