Abstract
The vagal-sparing esophagectomy is associated with low mortality, reduced morbidity, and improved long-term gastrointestinal functional outcome compared with standard esophagectomy. It is the ideal operation for the management of intramucosal cancers, Barrett's with high-grade dysplasia and end-stage benign esophageal disease.Entities:
