Abstract
The need for chemotherapy for trophoblastic tumour after evacuation of a hydatidiform mole was found to be significantly increased in patients taking oral contraceptives before normal human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) values were obtained. Oral contraception was also found to delay the fall in HDG excretion in patients not requiring treatment with cytotoxic drugs.Entities:
