Abstract
An avidin-biotin-peroxidase method of immunoperoxidase staining was successfully adapted for detection of duck plague virus antigen in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections of the liver and spleen of experimentally infected domestic ducks. Positive staining was localized mostly in the nucleus but was also present in the cytoplasm of a few hepatocytes and von Kupffer cells of the liver, and lymphocytes and reticular cells of the spleen.Entities:
