Abstract
Recombinant major surface antigen (P30), which was produced as a glutathione S-transferase (EC 2.5.1.18) fusion protein of Toxoplasma gondii, was found to be able to activate macrophages to kill T. gondii in vitro. The macrophage activation was due to P30 in the fusion protein, not to glutathione S-transferase.Entities:
