Abstract
Bone-turnover suppression is central to the therapeutic benefit of many interventions used to prevent osteoporotic fractures. There are theoretical concerns that long-term suppression may have adverse effects on bone strength, although at present no direct evidence exists that this happens. Nevertheless, further research is required to establish the optimal duration of treatment with antiresorptive agents.Entities:
