Abstract
Tuberous sclerosis is a rare autosomal dominant syndrome in which aortic aneurysm is a classic but little known cause of sudden death. We report a 20-month-old boy with tuberous sclerosis and iliofemoral arterial aneurysms. This case highlights the importance of systematic screening for such vascular complications. Multislice CT or MRI is mandatory as a screening and diagnostic tool in this setting to complement US with Doppler examination.Entities:
