Abstract
Disseminated intravascular coagulation is a rare complication of prostatic cancer evolution. Occurring on hormonorefractory phase, it remains most often infraclinic. Cases of acute, severe intravascular disseminated coagulation at first presentation are life-threatening because of hemorragic and thrombotic complications, justifying emergency medical treatment. In the light of a review of literature, we insist on epidemiological features, physiopathology and therapeutics of intravascular disseminated coagulation. In spite of a pejorative prognosis, this could help to achieve a period of remission.Entities:
