Abstract
BACKGROUND: Reduced ejection fraction (EF) has previously been shown to be a risk factor for adverse outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, with the advent of stents, procedural complications and restenosis rates have reduced dramatically.
