Abstract
Quality end-of-life care includes the management of distressing symptoms; provisions of care, including the assessment and management of psychosocial and spiritual needs; and respite from diagnosis through death and bereavement. Meeting the palliative care goal of improved quality of life depends on medical and nursing practitioners understatnding and effectively assessing psychosocial symptoms.Entities:
