Abstract
The anti-inflammatory activities of five different preparations of emu (Dromais Novae-Hollandiae) oil, applied topically, have been examined using an experimental polyarthritis- in rats. Four of the preparations were found to be active against adjuvant-induced arthritis in rats. The efficacies of the emu oils acting transdermally are compared with that of orally administered ibuprofen (40 mg/kg).Entities:
