Abstract
Cardiac mucormycosis is an exceedingly rare condition. This case report describes mucormycosis endocarditis in an immunocompromised patient with ulcerative colitis. His condition was further complicated by multiple septic emboli to the lungs. His management included surgical excision of the right atrial endocarditic vegetation and antifungal treatment with high-dose liposomal amphotericin B.Entities:
