Presence of the canine transmissible venereal tumor in the nasal cavity of dogs in the area of dakar (senegal).

R Parent, E Teuscher, M Morin, A Buyschaert.

Abstract

Canine transmissible venereal tumors were observed in the nasal passages of three dogs from Dakar, Senegal. Genital tumors were not present in these dogs. These observations, combined with those of few previous reports, stress the necessity to include this neoplasm in the differential diagnosis of nasal tumors in the dog.
