Abstract
Since feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) was first isolated, international research efforts have been directed towards developing a protective vaccine, not least because it may provide a model for a candidate human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) vaccine. This article reviews the challenges facing vaccine development, the current state of knowledge and future prospects for FIV vaccination.Entities:
