Antimicrobial Principles of Xian he cao (Agrimonia pilosa).

Abstract

From the antimicrobially active extract of the Chinese crude drug, Xian he cao ( AGRIMONIA PILOSA Ledb.), four active compounds were isolated. They were all phloroglucinol derivatives and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
