Abstract
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has emerged as an important pathogen responsible for serious ocular and systemic disease. MRSA has been reported to occur in dacryocystitis in the adult population. This is the first case report of community-acquired MRSA in the pediatric population in association with chronic dacryocystitis secondary to congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction in an infant.Entities:
