Abstract
Protein kinase activity is associated with both the extracellular and the occluded forms of Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus, a baculovirus. Serine and threonine are the predominant amino acids phosphorylated by the kinase activity associated with both viral forms; no phosphotyrosine was detected. The addition of calcium, cAMP, or cGMP has no apparent effect on the amount of phosphorylation or the substrates phosphorylated.Entities:
