Abstract
Recent work shows that specific adaptor interactions may sort receptors into distinct cohorts of clathrin-coated vesicles. These different vesicle populations deliver cargo to sorting endosomes of differing motilities and maturation rates, thereby determining the probability of receptor recycling and the duration of endosomal signaling.Mesh:
