The gene for MEN 2A is tightly linked to the centromere of chromosome 10.

Abstract

We have examined 30 families with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2a (MEN2A). Linkage studies indicate that the gene for MEN2A is located on chromosome 10, tightly linked to the D10Z1 locus.
