Abstract
Bone and joint infections associated with Salmonella spp account for less than 1% of all Salmonella infections. Most of the isolates are Salmonella typhi. Joint infections with S. paratyphi are uncommon, and there have been only a few reported cases in literature. Psoas abscess caused by S. paratyphi has not been reported previously in the literature. We report a case of S. paratyphi A osteomyelitis and psoas abscess.Entities:
