Abstract
Four new briarane-type diterpenoids, pachyclavulides A (1), B (2), C (3), and D (4), were isolated from the Okinawan soft coral Pachyclavularia violacea. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of the results of spectroscopic analysis. The absolute configuration of pachyclavulide A (1) was determined by the X-ray crystallographic analysis of its p-bromobenzoyl ester.Entities:
