Abstract
Recent studies of regulated RNA polymerase II transcription have uncovered a new class of molecules called coactivators. These are tightly associated with the TATA box binding protein and are required in addition to promoter-specific activators and the basal transcription factors in order to achieve stimulated levels of transcription.Entities:
