Abstract
The aim of this article is to define the therapeutic advances in the treatment of penile cancer over the past 2 decades. A literature search was conducted for articles in which a major change in therapy was documented as beneficial. Case records were then reviewed in patients who underwent such procedures. Major advances have involved less disfiguring treatment of the primary lesion in selected cases and the recognition of improved survival by altering the timing of groin dissection for those at risk for metastatic disease.Entities:
