Abstract
The power generated in single pulling movements in seated and standing postures was measured by means of novel dynamometers. The power available is strongly dependent upon the resistance to movement, as well as the posture. Some of the results have been applied to an assessment of the matching of outboard motors to their users, illustrating an ergonomic value of the methodology.Year: 1984 PMID: 15676510 DOI: 10.1016/0003-6870(84)90283-7
