[Diagnostic dermoscopic algorithms].

A Blum1.

Abstract

Dermatoscopy (reflective light microscopy, dermoscopy) is a noninvasive technique with high sensitivity and specificity for in vivo visualization of melanocytic and non-melanocytic pigmented and non-pigmented skin tumors. To this end, knowledge of various algorithms and scores is important. The first part of this contribution in continuing education deals with differentiation between melanocytic and non-melanocytic skin tumors on the trunk and extremities. The second part describes the different diagnostic dermatoscopic algorithms.
