Abstract
Pandoraea is a recently classified genus primarily isolated from the sputum of cystic fibrosis patients, but its pathogenic potential is unknown. We describe a case of Pandoraea bacteremia in a 16-year-old cystic fibrosis patient associated with clinical disease, suggesting that this organism should be considered a true pathogen in susceptible patients.Entities:
