[Medial migration of lag screw in gamma nailing. Previously unobserved complication].

Abstract

We report on a previously unknown complication in gamma nailing osteosynthesis, which is commonly used worldwide. The question about biomechanical reasons for the very untypical kind of dislocation remains unanswered. Practical tips for operative correction are given.
