Abstract
Multidrug resistance proteins (MRPs) have been reported to be involved in the efflux of some anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) drugs. We show here that MRP1, MRP4, and MRP5 are expressed at the mRNA level in human monocyte-derived macrophages. HIV infection caused increased transcription of these MRPs; however, temporal differences in stimulation are reported.Entities:
