Abstract
In the title compound, C(9)H(9)N(2)OS(+).Cl(-), the cations exhibit amidinium-type delocalization of the positive charge. The ions are linked by one O-H.Cl hydrogen bond and two N-H.Cl hydrogen bonds into chains of edge-fused R(4)(2)(11) rings. The chains are linked into sheets by a pi-pi stacking interaction.Entities:
