Abstract
Femoral revision total hip arthroplasty is a technically demanding procedure. In addition to these technical issues, preoperative planning can be challenging and with multiple reconstructive options available, the decision-making process can be complex. The ability to preoperatively determine the most appropriate option for reconstruction greatly assists with ensuring that the appropriate implants and instruments are available at the time of surgery. A classification of femoral bone loss is presented that guides the surgeon in selecting an appropriate method of reconstruction.Entities:
