Physical activity and good nutrition: essential elements to prevent chronic diseases and obesity 2003.

Abstract

Chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer, as well as adverse health conditions such as obesity are preventable. Physical inactivity and unhealthy eating contribute to these conditions. The article assesses the benefits of physical activity and good nutrition on chronic disease.
