Abstract
Many antiepileptic medications modulate affective and cognitive functions. In keeping with these observations, a growing body of literature suggests that vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) may have similar effects. This review evaluates the published evidence for VNS-associated changes in mood and cognition in patients with neuropsychiatric disorders.Entities:
