Rapid NMR screening of chloride receptors: uncovering catechol as a useful anion binding motif.

David K Smith1.

Abstract

This paper reports the application of a high-throughput 1H NMR screening method to the evaluation of potential anion receptors, and the results of the screening indicate that catechol is a surprisingly good host for chloride anions.
