Abstract
Brain metastases are neoplasms that originate in tissues outside the brain and then spread secondarily to the brain. Metastases to the brain are the most common intracranial tumours in adults. Substantial progress has been made in the treatment of these tumours, and radiotherapy, surgery, and stereotactic radiosurgery are now established treatments. With aggressive treatment, most patients experience meaningful symptom reduction and extension of life.Entities:
