Abstract
A neurophysiological investigation indicates that the paralysis produced in the dog by the wood tick, Dermacentor andersoni Stiles, is due to failure in the liberation of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction because of a conduction block in the somatic motor fibers produced by the tick "toxin".Entities:
