Abstract
The plaques of multiple sclerosis are generally thought to spread outwards from central veins. We propose that periventricular plaques in the cerebral hemispheres, and superficial plaques in the brain stem and spinal cord, point to the importance of demyelinating factors in the cerebrospinal fluid.Entities:
