Abstract
The case of a right handed 58 year old woman is presented who suffered an ischemic stroke after angiography following a vasospasm in the left internal carotid artery. The neuropsychological examination revealed global aphasia and severe apraxia for movements of the face and the extremities. However, the patient was able to carry out adequately axial movements to imitation and also to verbal command. These particular findings are discussed and explained within the context of the existing literature.Entities:
