Abstract
In an attempt to throw light upon the etiology of neuroparalytic accidents following antirabies treatment in man, the author analyses the process and effects of experimentally induced allergic encephalitis in various animals. He concludes that the two conditions are apparently identical, and suggests that the solution to the problem of neuroparalytic complications be sought in either the elimination of the encephalitogenic factor or the use of an antirabies vaccine which does not contain brain tissue.Entities:
