Abstract
Prototypes for a new class of polythioamide-based macrocycles have been synthesized and anion-binding capabilities assessed. Results indicate higher anion binding for H(2)PO(4)(-), HSO(4)(-), and F(-) for monocycles, but somewhat lessened binding capabilities for bicycles compared with amide corollaries.Entities:
