Abstract
A new cubic form (space group F-43m) of the title compound has been found which is isostructural with the analogous arsenate. [Mg(H(2)O)(6)](2+) cations and phosphate anions are connected by hydrogen bonds, forming a sphalerite-like three-dimensional framework.Entities:
