Abstract
High-density lipoproteins (HDL) are recognized for their role in coronary artery disease (CAD) risk reduction. Plasma HDL plays a pivotal role in the reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) process. Physical exercise is well recognized as a modality that affects HDL metabolism. The purpose of this discussion is to describe the effects of physical exercise on RCT.Entities:
